Hear The Story
of Bob Ross’ journey to hosting one of America’s most beloved art educational programs, eventually returing to make his home in New Smyrna Beach.
Experience The Art
Gallery Show of over 30 pieces of Bob Ross and Nicholas Hankins original artwork, including the initial 7 subject paintings created by Bob for Season 32, never before available for public viewing. Also, on display will be the final painting that Bob created for The Joy of Painting season 31, and the painting that Nicholas Hankins created on the day Ross passed away, July 4th, 1995, titled “Independence Day”.
See The Process
as Nicholas Hankins creates a painting live onstage while he shares his story of how an early interest in art led to him becoming the new host of “The Joy of Painting”.
Proceeds
This event is being held as a fundraiser, all proceeds of this program will go to support the general operation of the New Smyrna Museum of History on behalf of the SVHS.
